Funny how things happen....

Today did not go as planned at all....and I think that's good.

I had my day set out ahead of me.....make a few sales, go to an info session on how to get rich, go to a comedy club. But my car had other plans for me. And that is actually a good thing. I sit here on a Saturday night, FORCED to focus on my revisions to a story (picture book poem) I started last week and got stuck on. Thanks to Christine Taylor-Butler's great advice, I have moved forward and eliminated some of the mistakes that "beginning writer's" make. The story is much better as a result of some extra time and thought. I worked on revisions all week and now I think it's pretty close. I feel good about it.

And although I'm getting sleepy I think I'm going to work on my other story as well. I did some research to find out more about the character's cultural history (which is significant in the story). Now I just gotta keep plugging at it. I haven't worked on it alot this week, but I hope to do something this evening.
